I am currently seeking input on how to convey the multifandom concept of "Apprentice (or Student) Dominating Master (or Teacher)" as well as "Master (or Teacher) Dominating Apprentice (or Student)"... because the concept is bigger than Star Wars. :-)

Short version: Yes, the archive contents will be sheltering at AO3 at some point. Now that the archivists-in-absentia problem has been dealt with, that work can begin to proceed.

Also, Minotaurs was the sole-archivist for the WhitFic Archive (also Smallville-related, but separate from the SSA), and I'm connecting his Dad with the AO3 (which I expect to proceed very smoothly), so that archive will be sheltering at AO3 at some point as well.
(Yes, Minotaurs' server is still functional and DNS is still working in the meanwhile, for his fannish and nonfannish customers.)

Just awoke from a nightmare where I was in a various succession of cars. First I'd realize I was in a car, then I'd realize I was in motion, then I'd realize that the windshield was obscured in some manner, then I'd look over to my right to the driver (I assumed) to see what the hell they were doing and then I'd realize that no, in fact, I was the one behind the steering-wheel. I was 'driving' this out of control vehicle while blinded.
Sometimes my brain says "fuck it" to symbolism.

Because general_jinjur is amazing, and the OTW is amazing, and the AO3 is amazing, and the Wrangulator is amazing, and because everyone who is uploading stories and tagging them is amazing...

What is with this? I'm working on two simultaneous WC fics, and I suddenly find a metaphor I like for Neal and Peter's relationship. Prospero and Ariel. Cute. Is there a way I can use it? Oh, probably not without getting obnoxiously heavy-handed and trite. Still, just a nice idea, I'll keep it in mind for ... something.( I can't stop thinking about it )
Stop me before I write again!! Arrgh.
ETA: (My use of the "I signed up to write what?" icon is not any hint that I'm writing White Collar for Yuletide. It just had the right feel of horror to it at the ideas my brain was "signing me up" for.)

Oh, and also (I'm tacking another WC post onto this one because I'm starting to fear my new fandom obsession is making me spam my circle) I have to rec this commentfic at collarkink. What amazing writing, in a little package. Not that there aren't tons of hawt prompt responses there that I could rec, but this one (not porny, actually) is so beautiful, it shouldn't stay buried in with 100 other commentfics. If I had written that, I wouldn't stay anonymous, either. I hope she claims it, because I want to read other things written by her.

Well, the other project I was pecking at got mowed down by Vlad The Impala.
This draft post will be locked after the final version is posted.
I'm setting the Supernatural Convention in Colorado and it's an 8-9 hour drive from Dillon. I assume you have seen SPN 5x09 "The Real Ghostbusters".

C'mon, you barely have to have seen this show to write kink for it. *g* You can do it! They've got 65 unfilled prompts, and there's no limit on how many "fills" can be written for a single prompt, so even the filled prompts are fair game.
